The Hive is back with Creative Mornings Singapore and this month’s theme is MONUMENTAL.
What does it mean to think on a monumental timescale? To honor the past in such a way that it paves a path for the unfolding of the present?
We have no way of knowing if our memories will outlive us, if they will manage to travel the vastness of space and time. But there are people in the future who will need our stories, stories capacious enough to hold all of our humanity. So what will you bear witness to? What will you leave behind when you’re gone?

is an illustrator and visual artist over many mediums. His body of work ranges from sprawling murals to brand collaborations. Behind the moniker, is Toby from Singapore, and his artworks are often bold, striking and inspired by traditional Chinese motifs and playful influences that reflect both his own personality and his roots. As a lover of street culture, throughout his creative career, he has been commissioned by the likes of G-SHOCK, Shake Shack, Levi’s, and Asics among others, steadily building a body of work that exemplifies artist brand collaborations.
In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month, free of charge and open to anyone. Today, attendees gather in cities around the world to enjoy fresh coffee, friendly people, and an international array of breakfast foods.
